What if I need to cancel all or one person in my lesson?
Refund policy: Full refund with 24hours notice for cancelation or rescheduling. Please respect our cancelation or rescheduling policy. It is very difficult to refill a spot with less than 24 hours’ notice.
What if it’s raining?
We will still go surfing. The water will be getting us wet anyways.
When we decide that the conditions are unsafe due to very heavy rain, rough ocean or lightning the lesson will be cancelled, and the payment will be 100% refundable.
Do you offer photography?
Yes! If you would like a photographer please request in advance.
What’s the temperature in the water?
What do I bring to the lesson?
Wear your swimsuit. The sun in Sri Lanka is very strong, so please don’t forget to apply your sunscreen and bring water to your lesson
I feel a little out of shape. Can I still learn how to surf?
Absolutely. Anyone can learn how to surf, and I will be happy to help to teach you. I have taught people of all ages and ability levels. It will be fun.
What if I have never surfed before?
Not a problem. It’s high time for your first lesson then.
If I already know how to surf, can I still book a lesson?
I will be happy to adjust my teaching to your level of surfing. Check out the different lesson types. If you want to get better on the advanced level, maybe consider a private lesson.
Where are we going to have our lesson?
- For the beginners …
- With advanced levels I will go to the spots, depending on the wave conditions. As soon as we are in touch we will figure out where the ideal spot to surf is for you.
How do I pay you?
- Paypal, cash are accepted. Payment must be done at the (beginning?)/end of the lesson.
Where will we meet?
- Due to the many different surf spots in Sri Lanka, the meeting place might differ from time to time. As soon as you contact me, I will inform you about the place.
Is there a transportation?
- Withing XX km the transfer from your hotel or home is included in the price.
